Although my main niche remains architecture and design, my work has carried me into a variety of related areas of interest and expertise. A four year tour of duty with the federal government introduced me into design as conceived on a city-wide scale.
Urban Planning
The National Capital Planning Commission is the independent planning agency of the federal government and has jurisdiction over federal land and buildings in the National Capital Region. While working as a Multimedia Specialist attached to the Office of Public Affairs, I wrote and produced content about transit oriented development, smart growth, commemoration, security, parks, sustainability, and urban design.
