National Press Club: Freelance Workshop
I’m a proud member of the National Press Club. It’s one of those instituitions where you have to submit samples of your work to be admitted as a journalist. Besides being a point of pride it’s also a great place to meet clients or friends for drinks. I serve on the Freelance Committee, which is chaired by Tam Harbert who writes mostly about technology. This Friday I’ll be on a panel event for the Freelance Committee talking about what it’s like going from a fulltime government job to fulltime freelancing. Spoiler alert! It’s like a roller coaster! This is a ticketed event that will probably sell out. Please join us, won’t you? RSVP here.
