The New York Times!

A guy that I’ve known since grade school, named Jay Crafton is now an architect in my home base of Youngstown, Ohio. When I was in town for a book signing he told me that developers were remodeling office buildings downtown and that people were moving in. I was shocked but happy and he offered to show me around. At the same time I was pitching DC-based stories to the New York Times and nobody was biting. On a whim, I pitched a story about Youngstown to the Times and they bit. Who’d a thunk it? My life as a writer is now complete.
